About the Show Christopher Williams, who directed last season's smash hit Beau Jest, returns to stage LEADING LADIES. Ken Ludwig centers his play on two young English actors who are so broke that they are performing their Shakespearean shows at Moose Lodges in Amish country. When they hear about an elderly lady about to die leaving her fortune to her long-lost English nephews, the actors decide to pass themselves off as her relatives to get the cash. The catch? The lost nephews are actually nieces. Romantic entanglements ensue, disguises are devised and hilarious comic moments abound. |
