Moonlight Stage Productions, an award-winning regional musical theater, is located in the North San Diego suburb of Vista, California. Moonlight Stage Productions offers Broadway musicals under the stars during the summer months in the Moonlight Amphitheater and a diverse line-up of comedies, dramas and small-scale musicals during the winter months in the Avo Playhouse.

STEPHEN BRANCH (Ike Skidmore) makes his Moonlight debut. Favorites

his undergraduate degrees in Theater & Music from Northwestern College in
Orange City, IA, his Master's Degree & Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the
University of Colorado in Boulder. He is currently Music Department Chair at
San Diego Christian College in El Cajon.
   
TOM BRAULT (Cord Elam) From a pirate in PETER PAN to a prisoner in
LES MISÉRABLES, Tom has appeared in about a dozen Moonlight shows over
the years. Other favorites here include: MAN OF LA MANCHA, CHILDREN OF
EDEN and BEAUTY & THE BEAST. He performs often at MiraCosta College
and recently played Uncle Archie in SECRET GARDEN at Patio Playhouse.
Tom's day job is playing a 49'er in a Gold Rush living history presentation all
over the county.
   
JOEY DE BENEDETTO (Jud Fry) is excited to be making his Moonlight
debut. From Las Vegas, Nevada, Joey has been seen in THE LAST FIVE
YEARS (Jamie), 1776 (Thomas Jefferson), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (King
Herod) MISS SAIGON (Chris), soloist in the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic Holiday
Pops Concert, BAT BOY (Bud/Pan), HAIR (Berger Cover), ANYTHING GOES
(Purser), and the world premiere of two new shows: WHISPER, LOVE and
PAINTED (Cincinnati Fringe Festival). Up next you can see Joey as Moose in
Moonlight's CRAZY FOR YOU. Joey is a senior musical theatre major at the
Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
   
ALEXIS DILLARD (Dream Laurey/Choreographic Assistant/Emma) Recent

RALPH JOHNSON (Andrew Carnes) is very pleased to participate in his
14th summer season with Moonlight Stage Productions. Last summer he
appeared as Abner Dillon in 42ND STREET. Favorite Moonlight productions
over the years include RAGTIME, WEST SIDE STORY, LES MISÉRABLES,
SWEENEY TODD, and 1776. In the past year he has appeared in ALL MY
SONS and THE TEMPEST at Grossmont College, RING ROUND THE MOON
with Moonlight at the AVO Playhouse, AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS with
Lamb's Players Theatre (Associate Artist) and ANNIE with Starlight Musical
Theatre.
   
MICHAELIA LEIGH (Laurey Williams) is thrilled to be reprising the role
of Laurey, and to be making her Moonlight debut! Southern California credits
include MISS SAIGON (Ellen), HAIR (Sheila, Ovation nominee - Best Musical,
LADCC nominee Best Ensemble), SCARLET PIMPERNEL (Marguerite),
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Hodel), SEUSSICAL (Mayzie), OKLAHOMA!
(Laurey), ANYTHING GOES (Hope), and ROMEO AND JULIET (Juliet),
among others. Most recently she appeared as Hermia in Civic Light Opera of
South Bay Cities' A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Hermosa Beach
Playhouse. She has performed throughout the United States as well as all
over Europe.
   
NICK LORENZINI (Slim, Will understudy) is so happy to be spending
another summer with the Moonlight family. Last year he was seen in 42ND
STREET (Andy Lee) and CATS (Mungojerrie). Favorites elsewhere: RENT,
Musical Theatre West (Steve); 42ND STREET, Cabrillo (Ensemble); GYPSY,
Arizona Broadway Theatre (Angie); AZ Premiere of GILLIGAN'S ISLAND,
Desert Stages (Gilligan). Nick recently made his choreographic debut with
SOCSA's production of 42ND STREET.
   
JASON MADDY (Ali Hakim) appeared recently in Moonlight's winter
season production of YOU NEVER CAN TELL at the AVO Playhouse.

BETS MALONE* (Ado Annie Carnes) is thrilled to be back at the Moonlight
where she began her theatrical journey the very year the Moonlight opened.
Patrons here have seen her in such shows as EVITA, INTO THE WOODS,
ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, CHILDREN OF EDEN, CAROUSEL, THE WILL
ROGERS FOLLIES and more, adding up to over thirty productions. Last
year, Bets originated the role of Suzy in the Off-Broadway production of THE
MARVELOUS WONDERETTES and recorded the original cast album. She can
also be heard as Talulah the monkey in BARBIE, AS THE ISLAND PRINCESS.
As daughter of the brilliant Jim and Carlotta Malone - and surrogate to the
astounding Kathy Brombacher - working at the Moonlight simply means
coming home. Husband and Moonlight favorite, Steve Glaudini, and Bets are
beyond grateful to the Moonlight for shaping our careers. Happy anniversary!

(URINETOWN) at Ukiah Players Theatre. Ian will be seen in Moonlight's
upcoming production of MISS SAIGON. He is a very proud member of the
Musical Theatre program at UC Irvine and thanks his teachers and family for
