Picnicking
Picnicking at the Moonlight Amphitheatre is one of the most unique theatre-going experiences offered anywhere. Pack your own picnic supper and head to the Moonlight this summer, but leave the chairs at home because we provide them for you - free as part of your lawn seating ticket. For each musical, the gates open 90-minutes before showtime so that you can savor the experience of attending a Moonlight production: expansive green lawns for picnicking, socializing with family and friends while enjoying your picnic supper, taking in the sunset, then enjoying a breath-taking musical. This is the magic of the Moonlight!

Alcohol Policy
Unfortunately, due to state licensing with the Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC), Summer Season patrons can no longer bring their own alcohol into the Moonlight Amphitheatre. While the Moonlight has been one of the last venues to allow this and it has been part of the Summer Season's charm, we apologize and hope you understand the ABC restrictions. Our caterer has agreed to provide a range of moderately priced beer and wine selections at the Artisan Café located within the Amphitheatre. Summer patrons can take the purchased alcohol anywhere within the Amphitheatre and are still allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the facility.

Free parking, dining, visual arts and live professional theatre are all waiting for you in the historic Vista Village. In Vista, there's more than just seeing a show.
